Important Information for Economic Meeting 2027 Attendees
Access Zones and Stickers
- With hotel car stickers and badges our drivers can reach the entrances of the secured hotels: AlpenGold and Belvedere Steigenberger and can go past the checkpoint to Promenade 101 building (The Loft or Migros Supermarket). From Migros garage Hilton Garden Inn and Kongress Hotel can be accessed, usually the porter service would meet the guests and escort them.
- The hotel car sticker and driver badge do not grant access to the Restricted Access Zone or the “red” zone. The red zone includes Hertistrasse, the part of Promenade going past the Congress Center (this part of the street is completely closed for all vehicles), Kongress Hotel and Congress Centre entrances. To access the red zone, the guests must obtain AA or AB stickers.
- However, Kongress Hotel and the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel are located just across the street from Migros Supermarket, so our chauffeurs can bring the guests to immediate proximity to these locations.
- The AB stickers for the chauffeurs and assigned vehicles must be requested by the guests directly from the Forum. There is no option where we could obtain these accreditations directly; it must be requested and obtained specifically by the clients.
- AA stickers, reserved for government officials, grant the highest level of access, including Hertistrasse, and it also needs to be arranged by the officials directly.
- Access to the Congress Centre tunnel and the entrance (via Kurpark) is reserved only for vehicles and chauffeurs with AA or AB stickers. This also goes for Kirschner Museum Waiting Zone, which is the closest waiting zone to the Congress Center.
- Davos Heliport is also covered by AA and AB stickers only.
Waiting Zone Rules
- Waiting zones require drivers to remain inside the vehicle with the engine off to avoid penalties.
- Drivers with hotel badges are only able to pick up and drop off the passengers from/to their hotels – they are not allowed to park in front, and they are not allowed to leave their vehicles to go inside the hotels to escort the guests to the reception or to pick them up in the lobby.
- If the pickup moment is not precisely coordinated with the guest and the guest is not out by the time the driver approaches the hotel for pickup, the driver would need to circle back and this could take a while, so the guests must be aware of the consequences of their delays.
While we strive to offer the closest access possible, some restrictions are imposed by the organizers and are beyond our control. For instance, vehicles without accreditation must drop off passengers farther from the Congress Centre and other key areas.
